The T Level in Education and Early Years is a two-year Level 3 qualification equivalent to three A-levels, designed for students pursuing careers in education or childcare. It includes a core component covering child development, safeguarding, special educational needs, behaviour, and the role of families and agencies. Students also choose an occupational specialism such as Early Years Educator or Assisting Teaching, assessed through synoptic assignments and practical observation. The course includes a minimum 750-hour industry placement and integrates English, maths, and digital skills. It prepares learners for employment, apprenticeships, or higher education in education and childcare sectors.
