The course includes re-creative writing, commentary, discursive essays, and an independent research-based investigation. It emphasizes the connections between language and literature, encouraging critical reading and independent thinking. Assessment is exam-based with two written papers and a non-exam assessment (NEA). The specification prepares students for further study and careers requiring strong communication, analytical, and research skills.
