A-level Further Mathematics extends and deepens core mathematical understanding beyond A-level Mathematics. It includes advanced topics in Pure Mathematics (such as complex numbers, matrices, and proof), alongside optional areas like Further Mechanics, Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, or Additional Pure. Assessment is entirely exam-based, with four written papers testing a mix of compulsory and optional content.
