The T Level Technical Qualification in Health is a two-year Level 3 course equivalent to three A-levels, designed for students pursuing careers in healthcare. It includes a core component covering topics like person-centred care, infection control, safeguarding, and scientific practice, assessed through written exams and an employer-set project. Students also choose an occupational specialism—such as supporting adult nursing or mental health—which is assessed through synoptic assignments and practical observation. The course includes a substantial industry placement and integrates English, maths, and digital skills. It prepares learners for employment, apprenticeships, or higher education in health-related fields.
