St Mary's Sixth Form College

The Medical, Health and Social Care Academy, launched in 2015 by SM6 and the NHS Hull Clinical Commissioning Group, is a two-year programme for Year 12 students interested in health or social care careers. Run alongside sixth form studies, it offers NHS-accredited training, mentoring, work experience, and application support through partnerships with local providers, Hull University and Hull York Medical School. The Academy helps students make informed career choices, strengthens applications to competitive courses, and supports them if their goals change, all while developing the future NHS and social care workforce.
